About Cortex

We're building the memory layer for AI teams.

Cortex is the managed AI teammate platform — built to make AI agents that actually learn, remember, and share knowledge across your organization.

The origin story

The problem we kept hitting

Every AI tool we used had the same flaw: amnesia. We'd explain our business to a chatbot, get a useful response, and then the next day it would have no idea who we were. Every conversation started from zero.

The tools that promised "memory" were really just vector databases you had to manually populate. That's not memory — it's a filing cabinet.

Meanwhile, deploying a proper AI agent required a week of DevOps. Servers, SSL, DNS, secrets management, system prompts — a laundry list of infrastructure work that kept agents locked inside engineering teams.

We realized the two problems were connected. The reason AI agents don't have real memory is that no one has built the platform layer to manage it. And the reason they're hard to deploy is that no one has treated "AI teammate" as a managed service.

What we built

Cortex is the answer to both problems. Sign up, tell us about your business, and walk away with a live AI agent — deployed on its own server, connected to your channels, and accumulating institutional knowledge from every conversation.

The memory system is the core of it. Facts are extracted automatically, scored by usefulness, and graduated through tiers based on proven value. Knowledge flows up — from individual agents to teams to the organization. The longer you use Cortex, the more valuable it becomes.

Our thesis

Memory is the moat.

Context windows are a shared commodity. Every AI company has access to the same models with the same capabilities. What isn't commoditized is the organizational knowledge that sits inside a specific company — the decisions, preferences, patterns, relationships, and insights that make a team effective.

Cortex turns that implicit knowledge into a compounding asset. A new agent (or a new employee using an agent) doesn't start from zero — they inherit the accumulated knowledge of the team and the company from day one.

Most AI tools feel the same on day 1 and day 100. We're building the opposite.
